By simply replacing one of the batteries in almost any AA or AAA battery powered remote, the X-ray Remote Extender converts it from IR to RF.

RF Transmitter / Battery

The kit comes with 2 NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) rechargeable batteries.

One of the rechargeable batteries fits inside the transmitter sleeve and replaces one of the standard batteries inside the remote control unit. The spare stays inside the charger located in the base of the receiver.


The transmitter / battery simply replaces one of the standard batteries inside your remote.

AA OR AAA? – IT DOESN’T MATTER

The transmitter converts the infra red pulse from your remote to radio frequency and sends the signal to the receiver – through walls or floors, up to 30 or 40 metres.


RF RECEIVER

Converts the RF Signal back to IR and blasts it to your A.V. equipment!

The receiver will blast the IR signal up to 30ft if it can "see" your AV equipment, otherwise it may need to be attached to the device by using the emitter cable included with the kit.

This receiver can control up to 6 different entertainment units by using the seperately available 3 or 6 eye emitters. You will also need a universal remote or extra transmitters, one for each extra remote.

Extra transmitters and the 3 and 6 eye emitters are purchased seperately.
